I have been watching and participating in this drama for a long time....
We must go to court for the correct interpretation and enforcement of UNUSED VISA from ROW / undersubscribed catagories. THERE IS NO CASE FOR EVEN WAITING FOR ONE QUARTER. 20,000 VISA are available unused at a given time, they should ALL be immediately allocated to the guys in the Q.
This will benefit all EB 2 / EB 3

Yes you have in your posts supported what IV stands against. You have appreciated policies of US government not letting Indians and Chinese here.So I am not sure what you stand for. IV has opposing country caps on agenda from last three years and suddenly you are telling folks that there are too many Indians and Chinese here and you support caps and less Indians and Chinese here. One of the main reason for EB3 in 2001 is From 2000 to 2003 they increased H1b from 65 to 180K. Most people came those time was BA, BSC and B TECH. So most would have applied by EB3 and also from 2000 more than 60% of H1bs were Indians. It may take a few more years to clear 2001 to 2003. But there could be some spill over from Eb2 in 2 years time. So from 2012 Eb3 may move fast. Still 7 to 10 years waiting period may not change unless some bil or CIR is passed. But it should be noted that H1B Cap applications received this year is around 13500. So past 2 years slow down will make PD to improve.

Well, I mean no offense to anybody but why is EB3 ROW so far back while EB2 India and China are as per June bulletin or better?
I thought for India the approved cases were 5 times the country quota for 2007? Good for those guys that were approved but I still don't get it why ROW is 2002!

My friend was on situation. He consulted lawyer. If already change of status is applied from October 1 you will be in H1. But if you go out of country and come back before October 1st with L1 visa, you are COS will not be valid. Youcan continue in L1. But only problem is you can not switch to H1 later without stamping.
Can you please explain the above ....
I am on L1 and wife on L2 with EAD , Now I applied for H1 for both of us with a New company. I would like continue with the L1 from the old company, in case only I get the H1 !!.
None of the explaination says this explicitly , does any one know something more in detail ..

You have difference of opinion and I respect that. What you are underestimating is power of peaceful protest. One more thing, pardon me on this but I hardly understood anything where you are going in second paragraph.
Let me clear a misconception for you. It is not a peaceful protest because USCIS will not know why and for what reason you are sending the flowers. Even if it did - you need to realize that the entire system needs a fix and I will say this one more time, FLOWERS are going to change jack-shit.
Take productive things to the table to discuss. Let me give you a few pointers
1) Rope in folks such as Vinod Khosla and Indra Nooyi to talk for us
2) Differentiate ourselves from illegal immigrants
3) Statistics such as taxes paid, contribution to economy, etc will help
4) Ability to purchase homes, start business, and create jobs
5) For the sizeable population we are, involvement in crime is minimal
6) Peace loving people who want to live in this county and contribute towards its growth.
So for heavens sake, stop this nonsensical flower campaign. You will only piss off the folks at USCIS. Last time the flowers were re-routed to the nearby V.A hospital. This time will be no different.
In management when things dont get done at one level what do you do? You go one level above and deal with higher-ups, make your case, and usually the outcome is that the person at your level who is butting heads with you will accept what you are saying because his boss asked him to shut up and do what you are asking.
We can keep barking up the wrong tree or just circumvent USCIS and take the higher up route. For that we need representation in the corridors of power.

Are you not authorized to work until new EAD or copy of EAD will suffice... I know everything else is easy to replace.... but USCIS documents takes months...

Lehman Brothers were 150 years old bank meaning they say great depression and the world wars and survived all of that.. This time it disappeared one morning.
Citi, BofA,Wells etc are all in trouble..
