I sent #7001 form in second week of October , i emailed CIS Ombudsman3-4 days back . I received this email today....

As I thought about this further, I figured out the data is even worse than I thought earlier, as this may not have any 2007 numbers. People who filed their labors in 2007 were still waiting in july of 2007. So this data is only upto late 2006. Now the figures could be.

I would say it is a matter of pure judgement. It helps to stay neutral and make your best bet. For example, if you found a great job and the employer is willing to sponsor your H1B - why not go for it? H1B will be safe(r) anyday - it gives you and opportunity to plan for the unexpected. However, it would be imprudent to ignore a great opportunity by sticking to H1b. So, the thing is - don't lean on either side, just do the best that keeps you happy and safe.
One question though - If I apply for EAD & AP - do I have to keep renewing it inspite of using my H1b status? That would be a great loss money, right?

why bother about I129 if you have a GC ?
I'm just keen to find out what's going on, and to get input on whether the I-129 being revoked is anything that can affect the I-140/I-485. I doubt it but would like to be sure. And to share what's going on in my case with others where it may have more of an impact if their H-1B ends up being revoked.
Anyway, I doubt if it's anything that can't be fixed; my company is very reputable and our attorneys are already engaged.

Indian markets are in fact more controlled (by the government) than US ones. Last few years were like "wild wild west" on the Wall street under the cloak of "free markets" theory with practically no oversight or regulation of any kind which ultimately landed us all in this hole!!
It's not a wise decision to invest in India for another few years. If a controlled market like the US experiences such short comings, you cant even imagine how things will get in India. It's going to be extremely volatile and the armageddon is just about to begin. Stay away from there.

Finally my attorney from the previous company has received the withdrawal notice for my H1B with that company. The attorney also said that this was in response to the withdrawal request that the company has filed with USCIS after I left them.
Just the same way I had mentioned a couple of days before....

Understood. Now you want all H1 L1 B1 everything to be stopped. So lets vote only for EAD/AP/GC till you get your GC. After that US should stop GC also, right? (but ofcourse, naturalization still should remain open for a few more years).
If one person can work for your job at $8/hr, and you are charging $100/hr, market would adjust itself to $8/hr (for a moment forget about who does this $8/hr, it can be a high-school kid, or anybody).The only reason why somebody blames that $8/hr kid for loosing his job is because he "thinks" he is "superior" to that kid. There are many situations where companies decide to retain "fresh college grads" and layoff "senior experienced" persons, to save money.
Don't take me wrong, but I also think the L1 is mis-used a bit. But I personally think the mis-usage comes from other factors (like H1 unavailability, employer prefer L1 because employee cannot change to another employer in L1, other H1 restrictions) etc..

But So far I have seen companies put people only at the client place and their salary is starting at 32K and they are put up at extended staty, asked to share the cab or car. They bought the cheap indian insurance and no doctor is accepting here. So the employee needs to pay from his pocket and need to collect it later. Because of this guys are not even going to the hospital.

So our common goal is to fix the broken system, remove the employer's undue advantage over the employee. No matter if they are MNC or desi consulting companies. Why the employee is tied to the employer when there is the need/demand for the skill set. Thats the only thing which is driving down the wages.

To me; it looks like it could be a shift in change of policy. In the denial notice; it is the same officer number who sent the notice of intent to deny. Therefore; it is not a training issue; looks like something else is happening.

It is hard to believe that someone can suddenly change policy internally and not talk about it. In my case the officer id who issued denial is different from the officer id who issued NOID.

Every bank is here to make money. I do transfer money through SBI and ICICI , didn't find any difference as far as rates are concerned. Services at ICICI are much better than Sarkari SBI. At least you can do many things with ICICI by sitting here rather than SBI.
Switching is not a good option, What you gonna do if other bank also doing with you the same thing. I would suggest complain it with RBI whatever you are not satisfied with.

I have been watching Lou Dobbs on CNN for a while and I am appalled by Mr Dobbs' hatred towards immigrants. He seems to twist or omit facts to suit his line of thought and at times states his opinion as absolute facts (most of which can be easily dis-proven by a 10 minute search on USCIS or dept of home land security websites). My friends and I are considering boycotting CNN if this sort of offensive programming goes on unchecked.
